Join master National Geographic photographer and writer Jad Davenport on an exclusive journey through the land of "Pura Vida." You will visit three of Costa Rica's most beautiful destinations—the cloud forests, the beaches and the volcanic Central Valley—and learn the secrets of capturing its beauty on camera.
Together with excellent English-speaking guides with insider access, Jad will lead photographic excursions that take you to the most photogenic locations. Because of the small group size, Jad is able to work one-on-one with guests—whether you have a personal photographic, video or written project, or simply want to create wonderful images of your journey. Our relaxing evenings are spent in the finest local lodges and resorts.
It doesn’t matter if you shoot with a professional DSLR or just want to learn how to make great images on your iPhone—Jad works with both—you’ll learn the art of visual storytelling including how to meet and make portraits of locals, how to create incredible wildlife and landscape images, and how to photograph the nine critical elements of a National Geographic travel story.
Jad, an award-winning photojournalist, has spent 35 years covering endangered wildlife, vanishing cultures and wars in more than 150 countries. You can find some of his work on his Facebook and Instagram pages (@jaddavenport).
